To accompany “Until It’s Gone,” the second single from The Hunting Party, Linkin Park has released a lyric video where the all-important lines of text find their way onto neon signs, handwritten notes and tattoos.
The Austin Saya-directed live-action clip follows a man and woman as they search for each other on the streets of a big empty metropolis. Although still decidedly heavy, the track is a far cry from “Guilty All The Same,” the album’s blisteringly guitar-heavy song.

In an interview with Mike Shinoda, the co-frontman told Radio.com the music and passion on this record are rooted in the band’s earliest memories of their favorite punk rock bands, those bands who weren’t afraid to try something different. “There’s an energy, an aggression and a meaning, like this attitude that I’ve got something to say and I need to get this out,” he said.
