“We are sad to post that former 99Rock WFRD-FM morning show host and Dartmouth Broadcasting General Manager Beth “Bobo” Krakower ’93 has passed on after a lengthy battle with breast cancer.
Godspeed, Bobo. You will be missed. ❤
“During my first term at Dartmouth, Bobo asked me to be her “newsie” for the 99 Rock morning show. This was a tremendous opportunity for a freshman, and I can’t begin to guess how it changed the course of my life. Bobo was unfailingly kind, generous, and funny. I was privileged to know her.” – Grant Bosse ’94
“A great tribute to a terrific person. Bobo you will be missed.” – Tim Reynolds ’91
“I am devastated to learn that Beth (Bobo) Krakower passed away. Bobo was one of the first female GMs I worked with at Dartmouth Broadcasting as she was terrific. Truth be told, she was terrific at everything she did. Along with her family and friends, I will miss her terribly and will always cherish my memories of her. She was feisty, crazy, fun-loving woman. Sending prayers and much love to her wonderfully supportive family.” – Holly Fell Sateia
