Soundgarden frontman Chris Cornell is going to have a busy year between working with his band, fronting a Mad Season reunion, and, now, heading into the studio to work on his next solo effort.

Today on Twitter, Cornell simultaneously announced that he has a new solo album on the way and acknowledged the unfortunate coincidence that he shares a name with the Ohio man who’s been accused of planning a bomb attack on the U.S, Capitol.

But to focus on the only the good, Cornell has a new album on the way. His next full-length will follow up his 2009 LP, Scream, which he worked on with producer Timbaland. Even though that album was Cornell’s first top 10 breakthrough, debuting at No. 10 on the Billboard 200, it didn’t get a lot of love commercially or critically—not even from his peers.

Nine Inch Nails‘ Trent Reznor even called it embarrassing at the time in a since-deleted tweet.
