99Rock Music News:  Watch The Dirty Heads Perform ‘Warming Sun’ From Their Ernie Ball Set Me Up Session

The Dirty Heads and The Ernie Ball Set Me Up Series came together recently, resulting in an amazing rendition of “Warming Sun” from their 2013 release, Home – Phantoms of Summer: The Acoustic Sessions. Listen as the band talks about their formation, development, and their perspective on success, all the while watching a live rendition of “Warming Sun” recorded exclusively for The Ernie Ball Set Me Up Series.

Coming out of Huntington Beach, The Dirty Heads first garnered attention with their 2008 debut release, Any Port in the Storm, which featured the hit “Lay Me Down.” Since then, the rock/reggae/hip-hop band released a second studio album, Cabin by the Sea, in 2012.

The Ernie Ball Set Me Up is a one of a kind web series where they “visit with some of todays inspiring players and dig into what makes their instruments unique.” All performances are filmed at the Ernie Ball showroom in Los Angeles. In exchange for getting a all of the band’s instruments in top recording shape, Ernie Ball gets “stories of the instruments past, how an artist’s gear effects their craft and an intimate performance using the gear.”
