Queens of the Stone Age frontman Josh Homme has apparently cooled down a bit since his GRAMMYs performance of “My God Is The Sun” was unceremoniously abbreviated on live  television. The first of the supergroup to speak out was Trent Reznorwho called the GRAMMY’s actions “disrespectful.”

After frontman Josh Homme took a stage-crasher to task in Florida, an onstage tirade in Houston, Texas, found the singer taking aim at a litany of targetsincluding band Imagine Dragons and the GRAMMYs during an F-bomb-riddled rant, saying “F*** Imagine Dragons and f*** the Grammys.”

In a new interview with Australia’s Faster Louder, Homme says he says he was misunderstood and his anger was directed at an audience member. “I was really drunk,” he said.

Adding in regards to the GRAMMYs debacle, “The truth is, is that, I’m a musician, I play  my music and I don’t really worry about the rest. I don’t think it’s necessary to worry or sweat the rest of this stuff, you know? Just go and play your music, I go and play my music.  I don’t like to be disrespected, but nobody likes that.”
