99Rock Music News:  Watch Foster The People Mature in ‘Coming of Age’ Video

In Foster the People‘s new video for “Coming of Age,” off their upcoming album, Supermodel (out March 14), the band shows how rough growing up can be. We’re talking punched in the face, running from the cops, bullied on the basketball court, kind of rough.
 

The clip features vignettes of different guys and one girl trying to grow up and not fade away including the wanna-be boxer, the rebel without a cause, the uncool school mascot and the perfect student. But, spoiler alert, by the end of the video everyone seems to get their act together thanks in part to a trusty right hook or a pretty girl. Sometimes both.
