'Back To The Future’ fanatics nearly had a heart attack yesterday when the above video surfaced online, introducing a “working” Hoverboard from Back To The Future Part 2.

The video features cameos from Doc Brown himself Christopher Lloyd, skateboarder Tony Hawk, Moby, NFL star Terrell Owens, rapper Schoolboy Q, actress Agnes Bruckner, and Best Coast’s Bethany Cosentino, who all contribute testimonials on the product.

When you head to Huvr Board’s “official” website, there’s a countdown to December 2014 and a note from the company:

“This is clearly a new frontier for science and we’re excited and honored to share this first chapter with the world.” —HUVr Team

Quotes from notable people like Mark Cuban and Tony Hawk are also presented on the site. Cuban says, “Once in a rare while do you get the chance to be part of something this big. This is one of those times. I’ve never been so excited for a product I’ve invested in. This f**king thing is going to change the world!”

“Hovering this way feels like skateboarding in its purest form. Because there’s no friction below you it lets you focus on the pure essence – just the movement,” said legendary skateboarder Tony Hawk. Hawk also took to Twitter to promote the video:

While many believe this video to be a hoax, the company insists that this is 100% legit. “We look forward to showing you just how real The HUVr is with a series of public live events coming soon to major US cities,” the company said via Facebook. “Pre-orders will be available within the month and we hope to ship in December of 2014.”
